Description
La peinture à la gouache est un mélange de pigments naturels ou synthétiques, d’eau et de gomme arabique (ou dans les marques moins chères, de dextrine jaune) qui agit comme un liant pour maintenir la peinture ensemble. De la craie est parfois ajoutée pour donner à la peinture un poids ou un corps supplémentaire, et certaines variétés ajoutent également du propylène glycol ; la gouache traditionnelle a tendance à devenir cassante lorsqu’elle sèche, et l’additif supplémentaire attire l’eau pour aider les couches de peinture à rester plus flexibles à long terme.
